You have no idea how many friends i have that take 2 showers per day with boiling hot water with cheap 3in1 body wash poison and don't even bother putting on body lotion after that. In my opinion if you are not active for that day and you showered the night before, skipping shower is a healthy option for skin since it allows for it to moisture itself without relying on lotions, obviously if you sweat a lot this isn't an option.
If you are using any type of shower gel like Axe, Dove, Irish Spring etc. just throw it away and start using organic soap or showering oil and you will see the difference on the skin surface. It's worth every penny and it doesn't make your skin feel tight and itchy, this goes for good quality shampoo too.
Also do not use thick and rugged towels, invest in 3 good quality ones and you will be set for a few years.

Don't think the brand is good for you if it's popular on social media and is more expensive than other drugstore products (CeraVe) it can be as cheap as buying a single goat milk (it can be scented, but preferably not) soap, it sounds nasty but it is 100% from nature and mild on your skin with good antibacterial properties.

This is written from experience and it has transformed my skin and made it literally glow.

Also i forgot to mention, eating a lot of greens and especially spinach, kale green tea and berries will literally make your sweat lose all of that stench you may have since it's loaded with antioxidants which is natures deodorant in a way (still use a deodorant tho) and it will take this routine to a whole another level.

Cold to luke warm showers can be life changing, especially if you got a skin condition like psoriasis. Boiling hot water + soap combo is extremely damaging to the skin barrier. Ideally, never take a hot shower ever again.

can we get some suggestions on products. I have had fungal acne for a bit now and Im starting to wonder if its because of the cheap conditioner I used washing off onto everything.

i have hear rubbing head and shoulders on fungal acne can help, even some derms said it works.
Apart from that i can guarantee for Eucerin products, they saved my skin.

>Antioxidant
>Spinach/Kale/Green Tea

You can choose one only. Choose one.

Is it that good? Where would I get it?
it's not ''good'' in terms of fighting acne it's just the mildest way to clean your face everyday since it doesn't make it dry and itchy.
i found mine in a local shop that sells natural products and food, you can find it online too.

Maybe I’ll look around for natural stuff. As a kid I even had horrible eczema although I’ve been trying to stay really clean on my diet as I heard gut is what predominately contributes to to that. Thanks man.

cheap 3in1 body wash poison 😜💀💩💩

the worst part is that 4 companies make 80% of body wash and shampoos under different brand names.
That is exactly the problem with capitalism today-- it's not that we have too much capitalism, it's that we don't have enough of it.

I used to make a green smoothie out of those (except instead of tea, avocado) every single morning. It has a gigantic effect on clarifying your skin and making it more glowy.

The result isn't instant of course because a skin cycle takes 28 days for full regrowth, but once you do it for a month or two you will look massively better compared to the average population eating slop.

I couldn't be bothered after a few years, and it dulled my skin within a month. Drinking an antioxidant smoothie like that every morning is almost as powerful as tretinoin.

Another way to make skin glowy is eating collagen. No, not the pills, those are a scam (read up on why the very small amount of collagen inside a pill can't make any difference on your epidermis).
Bone broths, and meats high in collagen like ground meat or fatty (not lean) chicken) or steaks that are slightly chewier like a flank steak. As much as 10%-30% of the meat weight is collagen. That actually works. Taking a tiny little collagen pill on the other hand doesn't work.
