Lets say ur just a regular mtn, who can fit both long hair and short hair. Most people are in between while others lean towards the former/latter. Getting long hair makes u more likely to attract the cute girls, who arent obsessed too much with their body and social presence. Short hair however gives that primal masc instinct which turns on the "baddies", girls who are well focused on their body, social attention, social media, lots of makeup etc.

That has been my observation. Another thing to point out is that long hair is super attractive for alt girls as well.
