I've already done my degree, so medschool is a bit shorter for me as I'm doing the grad entry route. Yeah junior doctor is shit at first, it's only 2 years though. After that if i wanna become say a GP, it's another 3 years. It really depends on the speciality you want. I personally think being a GP is enough for me, they earn £70k a year or so and the work-life balance isn't that bad.

But we will see, it might get to the point where I might just want to do medicine in the USA after my 4 years in UK
