set point of the cheekbones doesn't matter, what creates the pronounced look is long lines, it's the spacing between the cheekbone and the jaw, if you have a tall jaw you'll have longer lines with medium cheekbones than someone with high cheekbones has with a medium jaw, because the differentiation between medium and long when it comes to jaw structure is much broader than cheekbone variability.

both of these have similar cheekbone structure, one just has a long ramus and the other has short face syndrome, which makes the lines not very prominent unless he tilts his face forward to elongated it.

isnt just top has lower bf than bottom? cos both have/can get hollows. or maybe they the same bodyfat, or bottom has to be lower bf than top since the lines are shorter. both have the ability to have hollows tho

bodyfat isn't what makes the difference, barrett just has a short ramus, which means his hollows are also short.

so it doesnt determine wether u have hollows or not, everyine can have at a low bf? just determines how large the hollow cheeks actually appear?
almost everyone but it depends more on fat distribution than bones, the factors that create it are present in almost all men to some degree, i.e almost all men have gonial flare (it's something like 80%+ in studies) but most are too fat for it to show.

and it's also not the only factor that goes into hollowing, sometimes it's just the pain hypertrophy of the face muscles around the mouth that causes it.

you see this on people who've been on androgens for ages, but also in people who are just very sensitive to them, i.e tyler maher has this kind of hypertrophy in his face.

but set height also detemines the length of the ogee curve.
take johnny depp (tall ramus and ovr. tall lower third, but due to low set zygos he has a short ogee curve)

it's a combination of the absolute setdness of the zygos and the distance between the zygos and the gonion which detemines the length of your ogee curve

it does matter, but there's not that much variability in cheekbone set point, there's no stats on this but I doubt there's more than like 3 cm variability between individuals.

chin height varies a ton, probably over double, maybe even triple that, so it's going to be a bigger factor in how it looks than cheekbones are.

so massater hypertrophy is beneficial then esp is u have small massaters?

not in everyone, those insertions also vary.

the most reliable to know whether people are going to have prominent hollowing is usually just the size of their jaw.

depp doesn't have low cheekbones by the way, he has insanely flat high cheekbones with abnormally high bonemass.

"High set" zygos are the equivalent of neutral eyebrows and low gonial angle on men. They all look like shit.
