In certain EE counties and the Netherlands this is definitely the case. But in major cities like London, Paris ect 6’1 is well above average given the diverse populations there.

Average male height in the Netherlands is 5'11.5 self-reported. 6'0 is barely above that so sure, it's not tall by any means but dead-average. In Germany it's 5'9 (measured) so 6'0 is definitely tallish. So worst-case scenario he's solid average in the tallest country in the world based on its self-reported (aka inflated) male average. He's not getting "brutally mogged by almost everyone", that is just delusion or dysmorphia.
