ADHD meds don’t directly stunt growth in terms of height, at least not in any substantial way. Any stunted growth is due to appetite suppression -> improper nutrition during development -> stunted height. As long as he eats he’ll be just fine

If you’re still in puberty, I’d be cautious about a severe caloric deficit.
Why? Consistent use of the meds leads to a permanent improvement in dopamine levels (which = mitigation of ADHD symptoms even when off meds). It's worth some minor drawbacks to get good grades imo.

Icl try a few meds till u find one that works. Taking a stimulant daily is obviously gonna come with some drawbacks but worth it to fix adhd imo. I take methylphenidate (concerta) and its great. Helps me stay lean, I get perfect grades, I stay focused. Its literally my avatar lmfao. Good luck

You (depending on the dosage and your sleep schedule) will not feel hunger so you can lose as much weight as you want, I abused it and lost 10 pounds in less than 2 weeks (literally didnt eat anything) but depending on your age, not eating during puberty will fuck up your growth. if you truely dowant to lose weight however i would suggest simple cardio like jumprope and eating less junk. But concerning your question fully, if you take a regular dosage everyday you will typically in about a month lose around 1-5 pounds but if you dont want to lose weight (or if you think you are losing too much) the thing is with the medication (at least for me) is that you wont feel hunger as in your body telling you to eat, but if you do eat, you wont feel full even if you havent eaten. so just be aware of what you eat on this medication as its easy to quickly lose weight if you are not paying attention
