Advice regarding nasolabi folds and tear troughs

Is this a skin/soft tissue/collagen issue or is the issue more deep rooted e.g recession of maxilla or canine fossa, etc. Im more so wondering what the root cause is so if anyone has expertise that would be great.

Any solutions like orthodontic appliances, surgeries, fat removals or soft maxes are appreciated.
