Hi, i'm already in a caloric deficit where im projected to lose 0.5kg weekly without any exercise. I've managed to tame my appetite just by looking at myself in the mirror and realising how chunky i have become. Is it safe to inject reta if i'm already in a caloric deficit or is it risky because of the caloric deficit i'm already in?

Bro. Reta has nothing to do with your current caloric deficit because it doesnt make you burn signicicantly more calories automatically. It mainly suppresses your appetite so only take it if you feel like you cant maintain that deficit purely with will power. Especially if this is a short cut youre better off spending your money on something else.

I seen people say you can eat your maintenance calories and still lose weight. I'm pretty sure it's meant to make you feel fool AND burn fat at a quicker rate. As of right now im in a 25% calorie deficit with no problem so still debating taking reta.

Well yes, you can lose weight on reta while eating your maintenance calories if a 100-150 calorie deficit a day is enough for you. Thats why I said that it doesnt burn SIGNIFICANTLY more calories passively. By 25% deficit do you mean like 500+ calories because that would already be enough. If thats manageable for you right now then you dont really need reta. It would obviously still be a net positive effect for your case but def not neccesary.

600 calorie deficit daily for 3 days now. But I was under the impression that reta burns weight 3x faster than natural. But that could be from the immense appetite suppression where you end up eating 500 calories and feeling full. It's hard to judge because the before and afters you see never tell you how much calories they are consuming daily.

I think you would benefit from doing some independent research on weight loss drugs in general. Reta doesnt really burn energy faster than the natural way because the glucagon activation only directly burns 100-150 kcals more a day. Most weight loss comes from eating less mainly through the GLP-1 pathway which reduces appetite and increases fullness. the GIP activation improves metabolic efficiency and reduces nausea that is usual for other GLP-1 drugs. The combination of these three pathways makes reta the most efficient for weight loss. But whether youre on reta or not, your weight loss rate is only determined by your caloric deficit and 600 calories is already enough so at this point its about maintaining this deficit.

The only side effect i've had from being in a caloric deficit naturally is being tired after like 6hours of being awake. If thats true that reta only suppresses appetite then reta is useless for me because I do not struggle with a big appetite. My thought process was reta would speed up my weight loss process even when eating the same amount of calories but if it's only 100-150 more a day then i won't bother using reta.

That's a reasonable conclusion. The tiredness caused by the deficit sucks ass and is also the biggest problem for me. The only way around it is to lower the deficit but then the cut takes longer so usually not worth it. And I recommend to not cut out carbs too heavily because that shit makes you tired as fuck
