Am I fucked, Infraorbital fat graft

I did Infraorbital fat graft from you know who.

I’m 5 weeks post op and now have a small bump next to my belly button that I don’t know if it’s fat, swelling, or scar tissue.

Am I fucked? What do I do?

They said wearing a compression isn’t needed
Looking back it definitely is!

Do I start losing weight or do I keep vegging out? They told me I can start working out. I’m doing everything I can to make sure the fat survives, gained 30 pounds in 5 weeks

They also said I can go back on Reta but… seeing as they didn’t mention the compression too much, idk if their 100% reliable?

30 lbs in 5 weeks is insane. I had infras, supras and chin done at same place, personally i will start lifting weights 8 weeks post op. I would wait a couple more weeks and then hop on reta and lose the weight, my understanding is that if the fat survived already then its gonna stay there regardless of how quick drop weight.

they harvested from my inner thighs, also didn't give me a compression garment but i dont see any bumps or anything weird.

im 13 days post op, so too early to tell but overall looks like a great improvement. I will most likely need a second round or revision to get my ideal result tho. Thanks man you too, idk how far away or complicated it was for you but to me it was quite the journey

Pretty sure gaining 30 pounds is a bad move because when you lose it again you’ll lose the fat from your eye area.

The lump is just scar tissue from the incision probably.

It’s slight but when you look at the slight shodow it’s quite large. When the leaning starts again, I hope it’ll also reduce and it’s not scar tissue

Dude this looks so subtle, it's literally invisible in the pic. I'm sure it'll go away / become borderline unnoticeable on a cut. Could be a lot of different things, including scar tissue. Did this appear immediately after the harvesting (within a week), or afterwards (if so, when)?

well i’d assume that’s the swelling at the site where the fat was grafted from

it should go down with time realistically

try putting 1% hydrocortisone cream on it and see what happens

Showed up two weeks, the fear was if it’s scar tissue the cut will make it more apparent. Went to a different surgeon in the states to check up on everything.

Says it’s too early can’t do anything about it now says only at 3 months then we can tell what it is. But yes since the photo was taken last week it’s become a lot less noticeable.

If it is a little bit fat then but if kybella helps and if it’s scar tissue then steroid with massage but rn too early to tell.

He also recommended topical carboxy therapy to help blood vessels form

I had some weird hives like reaction when I did fat grafting sourced from abdomen prescribed a topical steroid went away
