Am I mentally ill? Has anyone else had anything like this

As soon as night falls, I feel like I'm hiding from something, like I need to do my best to survive the night
I genuinely feel like I will get killed by an unknown entity if I don't pay attention
I wake up at 3-4 AM every night
I can't even sleep
This has been happening to me since I was around 9 years old

nope, its been more than a decade and i still experience this every night
i have to sleep with the lights turned on in every room of the house
idk if this helps but I have OCD, diagnosed
