Comparably, a human would need to be basically just entering puberty to see a change in facial development comparable to the 6-12% increase in mandibular body and condylar length experienced by the experimental group of rats.
You need to consider the ages for which a human's craniofacial development is complete. Will you see even that change taking this compound at age 12? Can only guess.
But you are right, this study is regarding volume. So my bad for the assumption.
