A place like america has way less people than china. Every country has high rates of employee turnover. China can easily subsitute their employees because they have so many people. America cannot.Wdym?
Wouldn't that imply they would be less conservative with layoffs rather than more?A place like america has way less people than china. Every country has high rates of employee turnover. China can easily subsitute their employees because they have so many people. America cannot.
Yes that's my point. They can easily be non-conservative since they have x5 the population of america and know that the worker is gonna be subsituted anyway even if they quit. This cannot be guarranteed in america however.Wouldn't that imply they would be less conservative with layoffs rather than more?
But they are being conservative by making it illegal to fire employees over AIYes that's my point. What I meant was that they were less conservative with their workers. But they are being conservative by making it illegal to fire employees over AI
Ah I see, yes I agreeWhat I meant was that they were less conservative with their workers.
They can be conservative and not use AI since they don't need to worry about employee's leaving, they'll always have another person to do the work.
the US or any other country cant be the same since they dont have a massive population to have every one of these jobs filled

According to Aras Nazarovas, an information security researcher at Cybernews, this is why the allegations are unlikely to hold up in court.
“Seems like a pretty weak case to me. OpenAI’s privacy policy does disclose that it shares your information with a ton of third parties, including advertisement partners,” Nazarovas said.“Using Google Analytics and Facebook’s tracking pixels is very common across most websites, no matter the industry. These are industry standard services, even though they’re definitely not very privacy-friendly,”

If you agree to any AI company’s privacy policy, you cannot reasonably expect truly private AI, in other words.
What is ChatGPT's fault? You're saying it's their fault for not disclosing this obviously? In that exact link you provided btw and thats chat gpts fault
^ a literal thiel funded company
I thought most people knew that you aren't suppose to ask chatgpt personal questions if your asking it personal questions thats on you, if you haven't been using it over the years even .org threads were made about this about people killing themselves and being sued for itWhat is ChatGPT's fault? I think that's called moving the goalpostI thought most people knew that you aren't suppose to ask chatgpt personal questions if your asking it personal questions thats on you, if you haven't been using it over the years even .org threads were made about this about people killing themselves and being sued for it, my point is reasonable security i don't care if its tracking my location or something but i think handling of data i listed anthropic and gemini as something reasonable. (Listed that mercor link for a reason) If you cared so much you would have invested in your own hardware for models regardless but most people that care about security are never going to do enough to be safe
i won't respond fruther because at this point your just egging on the civil liberty differences between me and you and by the title of this thread and your support for palantir we will continue to disagree on no point in debating further
