anyone ever did a case brief?

i had to a case brief for one on of my classes and i didnt have the textbook so i searched the case up online and wrote my case brief with the information provided on there.


afterwards i get a email from my prof saying that some of the facts i listed on my case brief werent in my textbook and asked me if i copied it from somewhere etc and he said it could consitute "academic dishonesety"

anyway im talking it over with him tomm, ill just tell him i had no idea that the case brief was supposed to be done using information exclusively from the textbook and that i thought the info was the same everywhere.

yea, someone else did it the same i way i did jfl and he didnt get caught or w.e

i never bought the textbook since we never even use it
