Yeah idk what is causing this shit its gotten worse. I think being depressed and a shut in made my acne worse because it was better at 17?

Or maybe my hormones are fucked up for some reason who knows...

I'm pretty worried about taking it but it seems like I have no hope. This video and I also know various people who got bone problems knew an athlete who took the drug he won state Track events. He sucked after taking accutane and even broke his leg running at one put his bone density decreased 10% in his legs.

Blood tests often cannot reveal problems

Do what you think is better, not gonna tell you to take it or not. I know plenty of people irl that took it and got amazing results - literally going from subhuman to perfect skin.

Tbh, not sure if there is much besides accutane that can fix severe acne. I am pretty unsure about what I am gonna do after I am done with it, my parents keep gaslighting me saying that it my skin is better and all but still looks absolutely terrible.

The acne can go away but acne scars might stay for a year. Depends how severe I might buy a red light machine.

Do you think high-stress may be a factor contributing to your acne?

Yeah, it can go away but I am still gonna be wasting the best years of my life due to being handicapped by it. Even though I am looksmaxxing and improving a lot, I am still disgusted when I look at the mirror and at my own skin.

I wouldn't doubt it. But acne is a lot like hairloss. People will point to all kinds of things but at the end of the day 60% is genes. I've seen meth heads in their 50s with better hair then 20 year olds taking every supplement on the planet.

I assume the same applies with acne seem people with the worst diets ever not get acne

But yes cortisol most certainly plays a role

Yeah I noticed my acne got super bad when I had a porn addiction. During summer I spent one week jerking off 5-6 times a day for 2-3 hours and my skin was the worst it ever was.

If you jerk off a lot it looks awful

I've been on it for 6 months, 40mg per day, it did wonders to my skin, but the side effects are brutal. I've decreased to 10mg every other day to maintain skin and reduce side effects but they are still bad. Cracking lips, red skin, I did get depressed/moody, brain fog, but the worst side effects has been dry eyes - my eyes are red and puffy, it has ruined the PSL of my eyes. Hopefully it is only temporary. My face also got bloated on accutane. Just have scarring left on my body to deal with. I'm 20 as well I can't believe my skin stayed shit from highschool until making the decision to hop on accutane and sort it out for good.

I’m 21 and I had mild acne that never went away no matter what I did. Eating a little nice food would just give me breakouts so I hopped on 10mg/day accutane. 5th week in right now and have reduced acne with no side effects that I’ve properly observed so far

Whats were your guys life afterwards I know accutane makes you depressed...
I took it. Not sure if it was the accutane or severe acne that was making me depressed... probably the latter. It nuked 95% of my acne... I still get some pimples here and there but not nearly as bad. I experienced some joint pain and IBS while taking it so that's another consideration.

have not felt depression except for looking in the mirror and realizing im 5'10

I took accutane for around 9 months, it fixed my acne completely on my entire body, 0 long-term side effects.
Only side effects while taking it were nosebleeds, dry lips, and a bit of skin peeling.

Accutane is the best thing modern medicine has produced

I was on 40-80mg a day for 4 months and got rid of all my acne

Now I just have acne scars

Don’t listen to pussies that say not to take it. If you’re really scared of sides, just ldar while on it. They’re temporary anyways.

I wish my blue pilled doctors would’ve given me accutane to start with instead of saying just to stop drinking milk. Then I never would’ve had acne scars in the first place

What I don't understand is does the acne not start back up after you discontinue use after 4 months?

No.

It shrinks the glands that produce acne. It is possible for minor breakouts to occur after use however it’s not caused by secretion of too much oil itself but because usually there’s a hormonal change (taking new drugs etc)

Me before accutane (didn’t take many pics since I was so ugly but my skin was much worse. You can see in my old youtube vids.)

idk if i should hop on. cuz my acne is caused primarily by what i eat. I don't breakout when i eat clean. But whenever i indulge in some cookies or maybe ice cream, i breakout. you think accutane would work to prevent breakouts from the shit u eat?

you think accutane would work to prevent breakouts from the shit u eat?
yes. You can do whatever you want when and after (within reason) taking accutane and acne won’t come back. Start with 40mg a day since you’re big. Will go thru an ugly phase the first month and you should prob get blood tests done for liver since you take roids also when on it.

Accutane is a godsend.
But you'll always have faggots saying it needs to be banned because they had dry lips and were a little bit more tired for a couple of months.
Severe acne --> accutane --> enjoy life

Accutane is the worst shit ever! Don't take this poison, I took it 8 month and it destroyed my hair. I was NW0 and in one year I was NW 3.5 and have also other permanent side effects.

I was on Isotretinoin for about 7 months at age 17-18.

My morfo was great during taking the Isotretinoin.

However, there were side effects during the curation - my skin on lips was getting super dry and I was ripping it off (like snake throwing his own skin). My vision was blurred. Felt tired, mind was fogged. There was also an ache in all muscles in body - so couldnt' do workout.
And I had awful random nose bleeds.

But, it fucked a bit my life tbh.

It destroyed my metabolism, it destroyed my sugar regulatory (I have become insulinresistant).
Also, I got hypogonadism (my testosterone level went to absolute shit, despite the LH being high).
And someohow my pituitary gland is dosing awful amounts of prolactin for no shit reason.

Did it resolve the issue with Acne?

Partially - it did reduce the amount of hypodermic infections (this type of acne), but it occasionally was still popping up here and there.

I'm 32 y.o. now, and this shit basically came back.

Most doctors want to put me on Isotretinoin again, but my answer is fuck no.

One doctor actually told me that there is nothing that can be done in case of drugs.
She can prescribe me some shit similar to Isotretinoin, which is exactly as toxic as Isotretinoin, but she said it clearly - it's pointless.
During the curation it will help a bit, but things will return after curation for sure, and side effects are random and who knows what will fuck up this time.

What she did recommend to me is to simply skin care, care for diet, vitamins, and use some gels that may help it - you can try things with erythromycin, but better get pills. Erythromycin in gel does shit actually, it's painful as it burns and smells worse than vodka.

Currently I started using a gel with Benzoyl peroxide.

Who knows if it'll help.

dont read what these fermongers say lest you may nocebo yourself, i have been on accutane for 4 months and its the biggest looksmax I have ever done with 0 side effects, so take it while being hopeful

i’ve been on 20mg for about one month now. Skin is clearer and baby smooth. The first free weeks my nose felt like a strawberry because all the blackheads were coming out and now it’s baby smooth and aesthetic, less inflamed as well probably. Never really got a purge but it’s probably because i didn’t really take it for acne although i did have mild acne, derm described it for my hair loss due to scalp inflammation. No depression side effects or maybe i haven’t noticed because being a sub chad has always made me depressed.

Used to have moderate acne. I took 80mg /day for 3 months and it cleared my acne, that was around 4 months ago and I haven't had any spots since. It works good, and btw you just need to take it until you stop getting new pimples there is no correct dosage ts just whatever works for you.
don't take it if you are still growing though its not worth the risk

Don't take more then 20 mg a month if you want to avoid the short-term and long term side effects, 20 mg for 5-6 months should be enough to clear up your skin and permanently get rid of your acne

i think diet is the #1 cause for acne here

still no sides other than the inside of my nose is perpetually dry it’s kind of annoying and dry lips as well but still worth it just moisturiser

I don't remember as it was like 15 years ago.

Most likely a normal dose - doctors here are very strict in regard of max doses, they don't want to take any responsibilities for any shit shows, that they give you a double max dosage or something.

They still prefer to use it as it's a strong med against such shitty acne that resists normal antibiotics for acne.
According to them, strange side effects do show up once per 100 or 1000 patients - well, perhaps I was unlucky, which shit, I'm unlucky in regard of curing any stupid health problems.

The reason why I probably landed with this med is because my body is high resistant to meds - since I was child I was taking very strong meds with max doses and max duration of therapy.
That basically lasted until late elementary school, but it really made my body resistant to meds and they only kick in if they are strong ones.

For example - if I'm supposed to take any meds like with ibuprofenum, then I need to take a 400mg pill straight away for it to have some effect like painkilling.
Anything smaller does not even nudge my system.

holy shit man you were doomed from the start, i´ll start taking isotreitonin soon and im kinda concerned about the side effects although the main ones dont affect me too much as im already 18 and i wont grow taller at this age, and regards the dry skin i´ll start an skincare routine focused on that, this is my last chance.

Do you think you could permanently microdose accutane in order to keep blackheads away? Or is that too bad to do long term?

i’ve heard of people doing this, if you are ok with drier hair and skin then it shouldn’t be a problem
