Children are weaker than adults but compared to adults children live on God mode. Children dont have to be strong because they have protection of adults, the same way foid simply dont have to be strong because society and men are there to protect them. As a man you are not protected by anyone except maybe your close friends or family but you are expected to cope on your own. If foids were truly in such a danger they would simply evolve to be as strong or stronger than males but they are not for a reason.
