Minimal chances of injury
No joint damage
Need to do high reps which will also keep u lean
The pump and blood flow is great

Compared to heavy weight where u can only do about 6-7 reps which after doing the set dont even pain a bit also bad for joints its just to showoff

Training with light weight high reps is more hard because u get pain before failure and pushing through the pain feels good

the ahtletes you see also do roids and are mostly scamming you
next time try to do the set with lighter weight till failure it will feel allat harder
 
If you want to actually build muscle do intermediate volume and intensity
 
Depends on the exercise, for example for dumbbell chest press you should do 8-10 reps with little bit higher weight, but for fly you should do lower weight with 14-16 reps
