Are you able to lift the lower eyelid with exercises?

@BigBoletus bro kinda afraid of eye injury. Any way to prevent beside going lowest intensity ? And if u stop the unjury goes away?
How long did it took to see ur results?
Me too I dont wanna turn myself into a freak. By the way did you used to be called Future Chad? I remember reading that guy’s eye threads

dont do it for more than 20 minutes per session. Even EMS manufacturers say this. Also, even if this is unlikely to be an issue for localised EMS and not whole body training, there is a risk of rhabdomyolysis , so drink a lot of water before and after the session. Don't do it for more than once per day, and I'll recommend taking a day break between the sessions.

I noticed the results after 2 months of doing it, but it's very subjective what you may consider as progress. I think that using a higher intensity would speed up the process, but my cheap ems has only two modes ( useable ): the one I used, and the next one that was too intense and gave me twitches. The twitches went away after a month, and the fact that I had supplemented magnesium could have helped.

I had used it for less than 1 month before I've gotten the muscle spasms and had to stop, and I doubt I had gotten any progress. This was in the fall of 2021. I started it again somewhere in January or early February and haven't stopped since.

yeah, I am the person who made that thread warning against EMS, that the guy above said about. Thanks!
Btw, I was very clueless back then about EMS or even muscle hypertrophy.
As long as the intensity/amperage you're using doesn't give you clear discomfort and a sensation of electricity going through all your face and even head/hair, you shouldn't get the same nerve damage or irritation I had gotten. But we are still experimenting with this, there is definitely still a risk at lower intensities.

Do you think I should do exercises then and not the EMS?

I'm honestly not convinced about the exercises. EMS is supposed to complement or even replace weight training. I would rather do EMS on a very low intensity, TENS tier, than do exercises or only exercises.

I actually started lifting weights with my eyelids, because I feel that soon I will hit a limit and also want to speed up the process. Not 5KG like that guy in the study, because it is insane for now, but 1KG plates. I feel like it's much easier to know that you're doing something right because of the soreness that isn't quite there with EMS. But I will keep doing EMS also. almost 4 months now and still no sign of damage or irritation ( to return ) .

How do you attach the weights to the lower eyelid?

well, I only started doing that a day ago, so haven't found yet a better solution than tying the cable of the EMS off the plate and sticking the electrodes like normally on my face. Of course, the adhesive isn't strong enough and after a while it tends to unstick, so I have to gently press against the electrodes, low enough not to take away from the load.

Have you guys seen this result? It’s without infraorbital rim

I have been doing them for a month or so. I think they naturally squint more when you’re consciously training them.

so it kinda makes your under eyelid straight?

do you think in the long term it will raise even more and give you hunter eyes ?
No it wont give hunter eyes but i think it can get rid of scleral show in a few months if you have minimal amount exposed like me.

i understand i have no uee and sceleral show just a bit droopy eyelid so i thought ems would finally give hunter. i will still try it
