How much astaxanthin should I take for a skin glow?

Would topical astaxanthin also give me the skin glow or does it have to be taken orally?

i am on this stuff for like 2 years. with beta carotene also.

4mg dose astaxanthin atm.
it helps a bit. takes time though. took me 3 months for any results to appear
