The more attractive, developed and successful you are the more the person associates your ethnic origin being closer to who they consider most superior in attractiveness in the world.
High Aryan or Scythian Indids, middle east, levan, gulf, central asia and meds
all have this thing going on too.
if a spaniard meets a turkish man with good looks he would probably think he is greek but if he meets mahmood the ugly recessed virgin then he will probably assum turk.
it goes the other way around if they believe their own ethnicity is the highest degree of average attractiveness
