I did 135 at 16, but never liked the movement at all. It felt like being under guillotine

I do it 2x a week just to progress ts to tell the huzz

Terrible for hypertrophy

Just pick a stable fly or plate loaded machine press and progress it.

dont like benchpress as it always fucked my shoulder when i was younger until i needed surgery (bad technique)

max was 100kg back then but i always rather did heavy dips, dumbbell benchpress and cable crossovers

if you wanna maximize strength just remember to progressively overload atleast each week

and also train high intensity its what took my dumbbells bench to 45-60 to 100-115
