This what the latest data suggest for optimal hypertrophy:
Train each muscle group with 14-16 sets per week and making sure to train them twice per week. The last rep of each set should be performed to absolute or close to momentary muscular failure. The specific split and exercise selection do not matter since theyre not relevant to hypertrophy that much.
