ok so i had this theory idk if its dumb or not
so from what i get, when u bring ur jaw forward the lateral pterygoids tense up and pull it forward, and the back fibres of the temporalis relax and stretch to let it go. the front fibres of the temporalis and the masseters stay kinda active the whole time coz theyre what keeps ur mouth closed while the jaw slides. and when the jaw goes back its the opposite, back temporalis tightens and the pterygoids let go
so what if u train the pterygoids (pushing jaw forward against ur fingers n holding it) and botox the temporalis so the back fibres are weaker and cant pull back as much. shouldnt the jaw end up sitting more forward then??thats basically how hunched shoulders work, weak back = shoulders go forward, train back = they go back. so theoretically this should work for the jaw too.
usage of aas, as espected would help with the the strengthening of the pterygoids
this is just a theory, let me know yall's thoughts
