Better option

Marpe or Surgery? What is the better option I’m split. I’ve been hearing marpe isn’t worth it and to just get lefort 1 or djs. However I’ve also been hearing Marpe is really good for expansion I’m going to keep researching but for now what are your thoughts?

uh it depends, is ur mid face recessed or does it look normal? do you have decent cheekbone projection or no

My cheekbones are meh and my mid face is lowkey flat it’s not to recessed but could be way better

yea just get the expander then, also djs and lefort 1 aren’t really the best options since both just move the lower maxilla foward while not changing ur mid face projection whatsoever, djs is good for the nose tho, i have a expander too but i got the fme

What about for a fuller mid face look still marpe i was under the impression that with djs they move everything forward

to be frank all options aren’t the best for mid face, marpe will only expand the maxilla laterally, you will get no foward growth. the best option for this is mid face implants and lefort 2 but lefort is very hard to find a surgeon who’ll perform this on you so i recommend implants, also like all of my comments for rep that’s what everyone on this forum does
