I’m conflicted because honestly I’d think that MSE followed by Bimax would make most sense yet I wanna get Bimax first cause my chin a lil small and recessed I feel it will definitely be the more immediate change in aesthetics I’m just curious what the forum thinks? Will they fall in tandem w one another is one better to get before the other or does it matter at all?

you cant get MSE after bimax for obvious reason (lefort cut)

I’m a noob explain lefort cut to me pls?
at bimax, your upper palate and lower palate are cut at a specific area and moved or rotated in rows of mm´s and then fixed with plates and screws.

Lefort (multiple kinds) is the original name for the radiant maxillary fragmentation.

Lefort I indicates the shift just the upper palate/ the alveolar ridge where MSE would be installed.
Now, logically, imagine how MSE works as an expansion device. When your upper palate is separated from the rest of the maxilla and holds only on the plates with screws.

Alright makes sense I’m taking it in I was hoping to greatly improve my breathing with MSE as well so I suppose my hand is forced here ?

So can you get MSE before bimax? Or do you HAVE to pick ONE OR THE OTHER?
