I just think the color itself blue looks passive and calm, think of the ocean. Think of the opposite eye color red (it doesnt exist ik), it looks very aggressive and evil and such characters in games, shows etc, have red eyes. Princess characters almost unanimously have blue.

I think both eye colors are both aggressive in a different way, but when i say green i mean vibrant green. pale green has the same effect as pale blue, but vibrant blue isnt like vibrant green. I think amber is the closest color to red for irl eye colors, and some even say its ideal for men, but idk.
