It got me thinking abt it bc there’s a person or 2 who seemingly did it right without results making me wonder if it is analogous to how some fighters never get cauliflower ear since the ear pools with blood but their body is so good at draining it instead of it staying and then ossifying

It being scar tissue vs bone growth makes a big difference in use case. If it really is bone u can turn a small downwards grown jaw with a small ramus to a taller ramus more developed jaw because often short ramus has to do with the mandible itself being small. If it’s just tissue u can’t alter gonial angle or ramus height too much

If u bone smash it to grow and the mandible itself overall grows then ur gonial angle and ramus will get better.
