Check out Brad Pitt with ex-girlfriend Gwyneth Paltrow (1.75 / 5'9). Watch his shoes. They are very similar, so there is no significant increase between them. You could say that Brad Pitt has 5'10 or even 5'9 in these photos.

But then, look how much taller he looks in this photo. A legitimate 5'11 or 6'0 lay people would say:

This guy is probably the guy who wore these shoes the most and cheated his height in cinema history. For all those who don't have 6'0 and don't want to use elevators, think about it.
