When we're talking about recession, we're not strictly meaning clinically recessed such as the case with midface hypoplasia. Dolph Lundgren has a visible underbite and Robert Pattinson's upper maxilla is deformed-tier despite having good cheekbones.

So should I look into jaw implants instead of bimax. I’m trying to get my maxilla fixed because i believes it more recessed than any of the people you’ve listed

Depends on what your mandible looks like. If you have a typical recessed mouthbreather profile, then you need bimax. If your mandible looks normal but your maxilla is flat, I don't believe bimax would have much of an effect. PM me your side profile.

How does bimax fix that though? What I mean is that the forward growth is fixed by the bimax but how does it laterally expand to make my mandible visible from the side

Understood. For the record I’ve been to surgeons already and the one that I like recommended 8 mm advancement on both jaws. I have perfect bite apparently so he wants both jaws advanced equally. I’m also due for a consult with dr armette and guns on office in late July
