In Islamic theology, the concept of God differs from the Dharmakirti's perspective. In Islam, Allah is believed to be eternal and unchanging, but His attributes, including knowledge, are not contingent on external objects.

Allah's cognition is not dependent on anything external because He is not limited by time, space, or any other constraints. His knowledge encompasses everything, past, present, and future, without needing external stimuli.

Allah's self sufficiency is inherent in His essence, as He is the Creator and Sustainer of all things, not reliant on anything outside of Himself for His existence or knowledge. Therefore, the argument presented by Dharmakirti does not apply within the framework of Islamic theology.
