can a calorie deficit stunt growth in some way in a teen I’ve done one before but i want advice

Yes, a calorie deficit can stunt growth in teenagers, but it depends heavily on the severity and duration of the deficit, as well as whether the teen is getting enough essential nutrients. Extreme IGF-1 loss. do it if your fat but tall enough. dont if your short but skinny fat

yes, going on a more severe calorie deficit can stunt growth slightly and is not recommended during puberty etc. going on a slight deficit wont give noticeable changes etc.
