My dad said that his beard started actively growing when he was like 20 but I'd assume it should start growing right during/after puberty, and to be fair my dad is 60 so his memory might be shit

In any case I'm 18, should I expect beard growth later ( I have shitty outlines on stache, chin and sides and very slight almost non-existent connection between them) or should I just apply minox now.

Beard can grow and become thicker until 30. The older you are, the higher your testosterone and hair levels.

Yeah, my dads beard didn’t get thick or grow very fast until his mid 20s, and now he has to shave it everyday.
