I am 15 yo and i was wondering if i can change my recessed maxilla in any way or at least a bit of forward growth with simple orthodontics such as braces. Just asking.

Braces don't really change much, but if you get elastics where they're trying to bring your jaw forward, it can recess your maxilla even more. If you really want results, peptides/bonesmashing might be the way to go. research it

pretty much no you could get a facemask but even then changes would be max 1mm if you want real change surgery is ur only option or an expander

i dont think i'll get elastics due to the fact that according to my dentist since i was 6 yo i had lower jaw overgrowth, that makes my maxilla look more recessed than it already is.

If you have an underbite (that's what I believe it's called) then the elastics to fix that might make your maxilla less recessed

If you use MSE combined with the right headgear, it can bring your maxilla forward a little bit.
