I'm wearing braces so I have a similar thing to palate expander but it isn't palate expander because i already got that 1 year ago, do you think I can still do mewing good?

i want to do that more to get my hyoid more tighter than improve my jaw because it's difficult to improve my jaw because i have a recessed chin but my hyoid bone Is low so i want to improve that
