Palate expander at 16

I'm 16 trying to get a expander because of how brootal my palate is but I haven't consulted in any doctor yet I'm trying to figure out which expander should I get fme , mse , marpe , etc . I read people say mse and rpe wouldn't work at my age and i need a marpe or a sarpe also I also have an overbite but I haven't checked if it's a skeletal overbite or just a dental overbite trying to get a herbst or just a band if it's not to severe after the expander

Please tell me anything I need to know because I'm not to aducated in this

dont trust what anyone online says, just go consult an actual orthodontist and he will tell u everything u need to know

MSE is just a specific model of MARPE. I don't see how your age could impact it, but I'd recommend a custom MARPE especially for a palate as narrow as yours, but ask a real doctor not randoms online. When you consult with an ortho make sure you find a credible one that specializes in airway orthodontics.
