This is a copy of one of my comments, but I think it deserves a spot as a stand-alone post This is from 80s/90s compared to now:
Pretty boy/chad/jock slayers from the past (stranger things series was a great example of that) were way more "down to earth" and NOTHING compared to the chad standard of nowadays.
Represented as buff jock yet shoulder bone structure is almost as fucking narrow as mine. Zero hollow cheeks and not a "cut diamonds" facial look
Another gigaslayer bully hearthrob. Again narrow shoulders structurally, meh height and zero cheek contouring.
To be popular by then you just needed high FWHR and decent-ish rations and that was it. Also falling into incel or under average looks category was super super rare by then, you had to look really "off" for you to be considered ugly. And I can attest that this representation is not far from the truth. Jocks/Chads I saw by then irl were like this its not a bluepilled representation.
Chad now (jock example):
Absolute freak heights and gargantuan sized shoulder bones
hearthrob example:
Hollow cheeks, which require many things ON TOP of a super low bodyfat percentage are almost a must. The bodyfat/mainteinance requirements for hollow cheeks alone already dwarf the requirements for women to have a slim body that they complain so much about them being harsh, not even accounting for bone structure. Every guy even "outcast nerd" from young TV shows or movies has hollow cheeks now too. What in the past was considered having a jawline would be called having a moonface now (compared the past examples with current, and the past examples were seen as good jawlines then)
Standards have risen INSANELY. It's not even fucking funny. Chads fron then are just meh nowadays, and its super easy now to fall into incel category. Instagram, titktok and movies/series chads of today make former chads look out of place as bullies and more fitting as nerds who play board games if they were transported to todays age.
