Does anyone have experience with masseter training (chewing hard gum) and having inward gonions? In past threads, it has been said that you shouldn't bother with it if your gonions are inwards as it will result in your face being rounder, anyone personally tried it while having inward gonions? how did it go? Furthermore, i bet there are a lot of guys on here that have inward gonions so what training can we do for the masseter/etc? Jawliner product, towel biting on the incisors, anything worth a try? Also, it might still be worth doing while having inward gonions if your length from left to right on lower 3rd of your face is narrow (i forgot the correct term), and i say this because if you have an oblong face shape, getting some roundness will do you some good. I do think however it's necessary to first get lean so you can accurately track progress and stop in time if it's turning out bad due to inward gonions because it might not be reversible if you are getting a negative change out of it.

Bumping as I'm also interested in the subject

Just want to say something since chewing/masseter hypertrophy is a very controversial subject when it comes to if it's actually helpful or not. My opinion is that if you already have wide/strong masseter muscles, you will see little to no change. However, for those of us that have weak small masseter muscle, we have the potential to see significant change. This is the reason why chewing gum/hypertrophy of the masseter has been helpful for some and a waste of time for others.

Bump

Forget about this gonion bs it’s cope.

Fact is if you train your masseter through chewing and your a bloated fucktard then yes it will make your face/jaw bloated too.

However if you train your masseter when lean combined with a good diet low in salt/carbs to prevent inflammation and water retention then your jaw will look much wider and will look much better aesthetically.

It's not cope, if you have inward gonions, you will end up looking worse than before if you do masseter hypertrophy. It's not about if you're bloated or salt/carbs, just the way your face is structured and how it will develop with hypertrophy.

How do inward/outward gonions look ?

Didn’t go well for me

Have you seen the studies on how chewing long term can remodel bones and make gonions more outward?

Just bonesmash gonion laterally, it works.

Why didn't it? What did you try
Just chewing gum and devices
With inward, I think the big masseters caused a bloated look maybe

Stupid cope.

Yh it does, that sucks because i have inward gonions too but haven't yet done any hypertrophy because of this.
I recall someone mentioning that people with inward gonions should do masseter hypertrophy to get a wider jaw but stop at a certain point so as to avoid the bloated face/chipmunk look.

Yeah just hard to say
I also have bad fat storage in cheeks so my case is unique
