Chin is sore from smashing

Just started Bonesmashing 3 days ago, focusing on my chin projection because my mandible is pretty fuckin recessed but that pumps I get from it are so sick, instant forward growth. I’ve been using my bare fists and go pretty hard so the pump is great but my chin is tender to the touch now and am wondering if I should take rest days or something can someone help
