The elites know this, and can smell all the future social unrest that this rising poverty will create. And thus, in a stroke of brilliance they created the climate scare and the notion of industrialism/consumerism/meat eating being bad. The purpose of this propaganda is to warm people up to the idea of accepting very low quality of life under the pretext of saving the planet. Want a car? Too bad it destroys the planet. Want meat? Too bad it destroys the planet. Sorry mate you will just have to walk and go back to your diet of bugs & ratmilk 0_o
