Does anyone have experience with co2 laser? I'm considering getting laser treatment for my acne scars, it's pretty cheap and i think it would ascend me alot since my skintone is kinda dead and has scaring but i'm not sure how much it's gonna help since clinics don't really do consultations for it

It's very provider specific honestly.

Most providers are not willing to run a enough energy through it to make a decent difference. I had horrible acne scaring it's almost all gone now. But its required a lot of lasering at sufficient energy.

Some co2 treatments made near no difference, others were a huge leap forward.

how long was the healing process for you

It depends what your doing exactly. If it's full field ablation at a decent energy level, expect at least 2 weeks of locking yourself in a room as a deathmask of skin comes off your face. It seriously looks like a phenol peel. Even after that exposer to direct sunlight physically hurt my skin for another week.

Fractional you'll need 5-7 days of locking yourself in a room. Both of these you need to cover your skin with something like Vaseline, and clean it/then reapply multiple times a day. You'll get skin flaking off but nothing like a death mask.

The actual healing will still be take place over 6-12 months though. A lot of the results you'll see after your skin peels, but not all of them.
