I have blueish eyes with no thick limbal ring.
A thick limbal ring is seen as attractive since it represents youthfulness.

Should I get brilliant blue contact lenses?

Btw your eye by going. By the picture you posted looks above average. Don’t forget it’s about eye shape not so much eye color. Having a nice eye color is just a bonus

I think in darker skin tones it can make a huge difference

In darker skin tones it tends to look unnatural in my opinion. I thought I could maybe make it look natural on me especially because of my light skin tone.

The question is if it is necessarily a bad thing. It still looks better, so they would still rather want to look at the obvious fake eyes than the natural eyes.

Is getting coloured contact lenses worth it?

I purchased a pair to fuck around with. With the right color, they can match pretty well and be difficult to detect. Just know it might take you a few tries to match colors to something that looks decent.
