INTRODUCTION
Hello everyone, this is my first detailed guide on a pretty unpopular topic, where i will be covering EVERYTHING you
need to know about nicotine: what it is, the pros/cons of it(and how to counter the cons) as well as
how should you even consume it for its benefits and common misconceptions when it comes to nicotine itself (and of course, my personall experience).

Without further ado, lets get into it.:feelshah:

WHAT IS NICOTINE?
Nicotine is a highly addictive stimulant (alkanoid) and naturally occurring chemical primarily found in plants of the nightshade family
(primarily tobacco) and also in some solanaceae crops (tomatoes, eggplants and even potatoes).

1779778376507

Nicotine acts primarily as a stimulant by binding to and activating nicotine acetylcholine receptors (nAChRs) in the CNS and peripheral tissues. This results in the release of various neurotransmitters, producing several neurological boosts (discussed lower).

Just like any stimulant substance, it has its own pros and cons, and effects may vary in every person.
Here we will briefly discuss each of those positive effects and overlook if we can counter any of the downsides.
(with more detailed studies provided)

PROS:

1. FOCUS AND CNS ENCHANCEMENTS: As mentioned earlier in the beginning, nicotine binds to nAChRs in your CNS, resulting in a
strong release of neurotransmitters such as dopamine, acetylcholine, and norepherine, producing effects including increased alertness, reduced anxiety, better focus and mildly euphoric feelings. Nicotine directly activates receptors at the neuromuscular junction itself, speeding up motor unit recruitment and improving force production.

2. APETITE SUPPRESSION: Suppresses apetite through hypothalamic signalling. This effect includes several different processes like AMPK inhibition, POMC neuron activation, delayed gastric emptying and so on. Extremely helpful on cutting weight or even lean bulking.
3. METABOLIC INCREASE: Nicotine stimulates nicotinic receptors in the adrenal medulla triggering catecholamine release — primarily norepinephrine and epinephrine, which causes a 7-15% spike in metabolic activity, as well as boosted fat mobilization.
4. MILD AROMATASE INHIBITION: Nicotine gives a mild AI effect due to several processes such as direct CYP19A1 inhibition (basically direct aromatase inhibition), adrenal androgen production stimulation such as DHEA and androstenedione as well as slight hepatic aromatase inhibition. Besides that, nicotine can have a debloating effect (if its estrogen driven ofc)
Other weaker/low evidence but exsistent pros include:
DIURETIC EFFECTS:
Very mild and unpractical effect, but it exists. Mostly appears from frequent nicotine consumption in pretty high dosages throughout the day. You cannot expect to get chisseled from it though, you need diuretics ALOT stronger then nicotine.
LH PULSE: HEAVILY varies from person to person. Some people might experience a positive effect (LH pulse -> more Testosterone) while others might experience a signifficant suppression in LH. You really wont know how your body reacts until you try yourself.
DHT BOOST: Extremely conflicting evidence on this one, as pretty much majority of nicotine studies have been applied to smokers and vapers, not clean nicotine users, which highly likely gives a positive effect on DHT (like the 5-alpha reductase inhibition concern that came from weak in vitro data and smoking studies, not clean nicotine users) (we will get deeper into this later in the post:200IQ:)
couldn't find a solid study on this one, my bad

CONS
(and how to counter most of them)
1. VASOCONSTRICTION: Probably the biggest issue when it comes to absolutely any stimulant, including nicotine. Primary mechanism for this is norepinephrine driven alpha-adrenergic activation - norepinephrine binds alpha-1 adrenergic receptors on vascular smooth muscle cells, directly causing vasoconstriction as well as reduced nitric oxide bioavailability(!!!). These 2 main mechanisms (along with other sides from alpha-1 binding such as endothelin-1 upregulation, IP3 and DAG production and so on and so forth, no reason to include them all here) can bring variety of different bad side effects such as erectile dysfunction, reduced blood flow to muscles (therefor, reduced pumps) and many more.

1779794466635

COUNTER: Use vasolidating medicine to directly counter vasoconstriction on itself, combine them with alpha-1 adrenergic receptor downregulators. as well as simple nitric oxide boosters.

One of THE BEST vasolidators there is. PDE5 inhibitor that prevents breakdown of cGMP in vascular smooth muscle, preserving and amplifying the nitric oxide relaxation signal. 5mg daily is probably the best thing youll ever do for your health.
1779795823297

Very potent vasolidator, same PDE5 inhibition mechanism as tadalafil but shorter 4-6 hour half life. 25-50 mg is the recommended dose.
1779796350973

Makes red blood cells more flexible so they pass through narrowed capillaries more easily while also reducing blood viscosity. Uniquely addresses microcirculation at the capillary level which PDE5 inhibitors don't cover as effectively.
1779796550944

A prescription medication used to prevent/manage heart-related chest pains (angina pectoris). It works by relaxing and widening blood vessels, which improves blood flow to the heart and reduces its workload, as well as being an organic nitrate that directly donates Nitric Oxide to vascular tissue, being the most direct and potent NO delivery mechanism available pharmaceutically (good luck obtaining it though)
1779796946587

Third generation beta blocker that uniquely stimulates endothelial NO production through beta-3 receptor activation, causing vasolidation rather then constriction.
1779797088812

Probably the stronger alpha-1 upregulator on this list because it fully blocks alpha-1 receptors by binding them with high affinity, completely preventing norepinephrine from attaching and triggering vasoconstriction (DO NOT USE WITH VASOLIDATORS)
1779797632355

Makes vascular smooth muscle less responsive to norepinephrine's signal after it binds.
1779797807055

Partially blocks alpha-1 receptors reducing how much norepinephrine can bind and trigger vasoconstriction.
1779798884099
IMPORTANT NOTICE: DO NOT TAKE PHARMACEUTICAL ALPHA-1 RECEPTOR BLOCKERS (like prazosin mentioned here) WITH VASOLIDATORS. It is extremely risky for your whole cardiovascular system. Only combine supplemential alpha-1 upregulators with vasolidators.

2. CHRONIC CORTISOL ELEVATION: Nicotine stimulates the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis.

-Hypothalamus releases CRH
-Pituitary releases ACTH
-Adrenal glands produce cortisol
-Chronic nicotine use keeps this axis chronically stimulated
-Cortisol stays persistently elevated above baseline

COUNTER: Simply stack anti-inflammatory supplements/medicine along with cortisol management supplements.
Anti-inflammatory: Aspirin or Ortofen on rest days
Cortisol management: Phosphatidylserine, ashwagandha, rhodiola, and maybe magnesium glycinate before sleep.

HOW TO ACTUALLY USE IT
CIGARETTES AND VAPES - COMPLETE NO
1779801567866

REASONING FOR THIS:
Burning tobacco creates hundreds of toxic compounds — benzene, formaldehyde, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, acrolein. These cause systemic oxidative stress, inflammation, and DNA damage completely independently of nicotine. Every negative health study on smoking includes all of these confounders making it impossible to attribute damage to nicotine alone. (which is why we can't really rely on most of nicotine studies, because most likely the effect wasn't caused by nicotine itself-it was caused by various toxic chemicals that are like a consequence while burning nicotine)
Besides all of this, both may have various hundreds of heavy metals, MAOIs and so on. All of these things cause way harmful effect then nicotine on itself.

Nicotine itself is highly unlikely to even give you the addiction. Its the chemicals that actually do it.

NICOTINE POUCHES (SNUS) ARE THE WAY TO GO WITH NICOTINE

1779802043694

THESE THINGS WERE CREATED SOLELY FOR THE PURPOSE OF QUITTING SMOKE VARIANTS OF NICOTINE (like previously mentioned cigs/vapes) THEREFORE GIVING A SMOKELESS ALTERNATIVE.

WHY NICOTINE POUCHES?

THEY SIMPLY BYPASS ALL OF CIGARETTES/VAPES CHEMICAL EFFECTS FROM MAOI'S,
HEAVY METALS ETC. THEREFORE, GIVING US NICOTINE NEARLY IN ITS CLEANEST FORM.

Now, how do we actually USE them?
(BEGINNERS MUST READ)
(Following suggestions are based mostly on people's experiences, including my own. Proceed
with caution
)

1. If you are a complete beginner, or you have any sort of nicotine tolerance - start small. No matter the pouch, it will always be stronger then classic cigs/vapes. 8-12 mg pouches are your way to go - shouldn't go above. There isnt really a reason to go above that dose if you want to use it for the same good effects as previously mentioned.

2. MAKE SURE you know what brand to choose. Snus brand matters alot when it comes to nicotine pouches. For example, 30mg VELO might be completely not as strong as a 30mg CUBA.
BEST BEGINNER FRIENDLY BRANDS:
VELO
ZYN
VIKA (low doses)
CUBA (choose really low doses if you are a beginner)

3. When you first put it under your lip, make sure to
NEVER
-Hold it longer then 5-6 minutes
-Spit out your saliva (no matter the tolerance, you really shouldn't swallow it. No benefits, only gut irritation)
-Never use the same pouch more then 2 times (extremely unhygienic)

4. If you need to focus, make sure you get STRAIGHT into your task after you got high

You can still get even a little high on low doses snus (unless you build good tolerance). If you don't get high, you simply begin doing your task while using it. You will visibly notice a pretty solid sharpening in your focus.

5. Extremely helpful in cutting weight.
Just use a snus whenever you feel hungry or just want to have a snack/binge eat. trust me, it works pretty fine

CONCLUSION
This post has touched many points when it comes to Nicotine. Overall, in great hands it can become a very powerfull utility depending on your personal goals.

Thank you guys for reading, make sure to drop your thoughts and lmk what i can improve :feelsgood:

Snus is fucking ass. Stops working, headaches, terrible for your oral health.

Just pin 72mg nic E-liquid, nigga.

Snus is great for like 2 weeks. After that I find it completely useless.

Good thread, still not using nicotine though

It's simple, stop being a low will-powered giga subhuman fag
that's what clav said in one of his posts about meth and cocaine,
he's a drug addict now who ended up ODing in front of thousands of people
you can't control addictions retard, they're stronger than you'll ever be

Cope!

Shut the fuck up you victim.

I don't want to hear any type of bullshit which externalizes control.

You're truly retarded.

How can you even compare Meth and Cocaine to nicotine addiction?

You've clearly never been addicted to either in your life, typical straight-head retard who thinks he knows it all.

I do not believe in things which take power away from me. Believing that you cannot beat your addiction reinforces it. Those people never change, ever.

The people who believe they can change do. Every single time. Even if they relapse.

Only install the most optimal software into your mind. The software which allows you to be most competitive, and let me tell you something... believing that addictions are stronger then you'll ever be is suboptimal.

niga I couldn't care less if you wanna use nicotine, cocaine or meth, do whatever the fuck you want with your life
Im just advising against normal people's use of addictive substances because of their power to create addiction
go ahead a pop a 100mg snus in your bbc sucking mouth, hope you'll fell better or die:feelswhy:

That's not what you was doing, at all.

Your original point compared Nicotine addiction to meth and cocaine, which are two completely different things.

OP is talking about Nicotine in specific.

You then stated: you can't control addictions retard, they're stronger than you'll ever be

Which is the point I spoke truth onto.

Obviously addictive substances have the power to create addictions. But believing you don't have the "power" to fix it, that's the perspective I'm applying onto your shallow, underdeveloped mind.

Also, I don't do drugs anymore.
