Me and a friend averaged out the faces of multiple Chads through the decades this week.
Each composite is an image of a "Chad" that was typical of that decade.
The images were made using at least fifty faces of Chadlites and Chads for each decade (they were a mix of both famous and non-famous people) and averaged out on BetaFace to produce the composite.
Then, an AI drawing for each was drawn up on Midjourney by my friend.
For a Chad to be included in each of the composite morphs, he had to be:

For a Chad to be included in each of the composite morphs, he had to be:
- At least 5.5 PSL (1980s-2020s)
- 5.0 PSL for the 1950s-1970s, due to the difficulties of finding 5.5+ PSL faces for those decades
- Full or almost full Western European ethnicity
- Aged 27 or below

A few observations can be made:
- With the exception of the 1980s and 2020s, maesthetic looks are the gold standard of male physical attractiveness.
- Facial bones have become bulkier over time, the most sudden "jumps" in bulkiness happening in the 1990s and the 2020s.
- While the 1980s featured a "natural-looking" prettyboy with clear Western European features, the 2020s male ideal seems to have ethnic eyebrows and lips (but everything else clearly Western European), despite every single one of the faces used in the composite being of Western European ethnicity. This is likely due to surgeries and fillers becoming more accessible and widespread (e.g. TikTok prettyboys getting their lips filled like a typical English Love Island slag).
- Bad features such as long FWHRs seem to have bred out with time.
