I don't think fat grafting is an ineffective surgery but people talk about it disproportionately on this forum. When you need cantho, od etc. first but talking about overfilling supra then it's cope.

Also other thing is this overfill hood meme comes from everyone wanting to be white (usually o'pry), the ideal amount of uee might be different for everyone depending on their ethnicity, appeal, other features.

I have seen some south asian guys who have that full supra hood naturally, I didn't think it looks too good. If they had caucasian craniofacial features and colouring then it would look good. And even for whites it probably depends and you need to judge your case.

Its a small procedure often combined with other surgeries. Its very limited in how it can change someones looks. Its good but people have begun to cope and say you dont need implants because fat graft is enough. Which isnt the case most of the time. Multiple procedures are needed most of the time

You do before and dont risk infection from the fat graft on the implant

You do it after because you might need it anyway because the design wasnt perfect or the first fat graft wasnt enough now with the implant in place.

Also if you wanna be safe with fat graft you do conservative ones but multiple times

If you dont need infras you dont need fat graft most of the time.

Infras are expensive, high risk, and most surgeons don’t have the experience to do them. Yes they can look amazing but I tend to think it’s only really justifiable if you have something like proptosis. If there’s a complication it can really gigafuck your face in a way that’s dramatic and near impossible to fix.
