I just dislike the idea that the earth is 5k and rejection of evolution.

Everything we dig up points to evolution as the origin of our existence and the earth being billions of year's old.

We as humans are also clearly adapted for a hunter gatherer lifestyle. Nowhere as far as I know are humans in religious texts mentioned as hunter gatherers
