Legs are a bonus, not a requirement.

You can skip legs and have a descent physique.

On the contrary, you cannot skip upper body and have a decent physique.

Of course, training both the upper and the lower body makes the best physique. But upper is the essential 80% part; legs are the last 20% of the Pareto Principle.

Alright, and what’s a good workout routine for a beginner? I get different answers like 2x full body, 6 day ppl, U/L split, etc. I even had Mario Rios tell me that PPL 1x per week is good enough for a beginner.
