Dark shadow after shaving?

So my facial hair grows pretty thick and coarse and it’s very dark. My skin tone is olive and even when I shave on that day it looks like I have facial hair when in fact it’s just a shadow. Is this ok, usually within two days I have a trash Stache and then I shave it off. Shaving everyday would be too irritating.
