So a bit of context,
I watched this Movie called "The Graduate" (1967)
And I must say it is one of the most dogshit movies ever made
Basically the plot is about some 5'4" incel being in a close promixity with a roastie wife who doesnt get dick anymore. the roastie's husband and the incel's dad are friends and business partners, so they have a "close relationship".
and she wants the incel's dick.
this guy isnt some fuckboy who just smashes her, or isnt some ethical guy who outright refuses to fuck her. he acts like a cringey weirdo like those reddit stereotypes u read and then starts having an affair with her after she calls him a virgin for behaving like that
basically what happens next is this guy falls in love with the roastie's daughter (she's a stacy) and then the daughter finds out and their whole family becomes a mess but this daughter realizes the incel is her love of her life and elopes with her. (cringe as hell plot).
now why am i telling u guys this cringe, utterly low t plot worse than a porno plot?
well this is considered one of the most important films to come out in the history of movies.
why?
thats right, this cringe ass plot with acting worse than a porno made $105M in 1967.
U might say -- oh thats just $105M... jfl no, it was in 1967 son
$940M in 2023 money
Tell me how, if 90% of people COULDNT relate to this movie, it made this amount of money.
This Amount of moneymaking is only possible when 90% of the audiences CAN RELATE TO THE LEAD
and if 90% people are relating to a cringe incel with beta anxious behavior
that must really say all u need to know about inhibition levels and T levels of the people of 1960s
p.s. it doesnt even have nude scenes of any women so thats not an excuse as to why it made so much money
