Deepbite with(out) braces

I have a deepbite, ill be having braces but my orthodontist told me its too late (and very expensive) to fix it. Altough ill be having braces, but just for 'cosmetic' effect. I have nowhere near straight teeth, especially visible in my upper front teeth. My question is, if it will be just straightening it, can it improve my jaw or side profile? Its similiar to this one i found on the internet, will pushing the right one result in forward projection?

Too late for fixing deepbite, still i have to make them straight so they could look ok at least from the front, when im talking etc.
