There are studies that something like anavar or halo can increase height but can it actually increase final adult height or would it mature the bone early causing a decrease or no difference in final adult height? Are there any ways to counteract this like taking an AI or anything else?

No, but since they suppress testosterone, you need a test base which will aromatise into estrogen which is why you need an aromatise inhibitor to stop this from speeding up bone maturation
