do i pop a ramipril before i go out tn and see if it reduces water retention

my basic understanding is that ramipril is not a loop diuretic, but operates higher up on the chain, causing no sodium to be released, which in turn will cause reduced water retention, however even with research i cannot workout its effect on someone with normal blood pressure
